Every day we make choices. And those choices accumulate and eventually become our life story. What would your life look like if you became an expert at making those choices? Divine Direction will help you seek wisdom through seven principles. You’ll consider one thing to stop that’s hindering you; how to start a new habit to re-direct your path; where you should stay committed; and when you should go even if it’s easier to stay. God is dedicated to the wonderful plan he’s laid out for you. The achievable and powerful steps in Divine Direction take you there one step at a time, big, or small.

In the book entitled, 'UNSTOPPABLE: Running the Race You were Born to Win', author, teacher, preacher and activist, Christine Caine encourages readers to keep pressing, keep going, and to keep running the race that God has set before them, with a new level of determination; regardless of the current circumstances or the challenges before them, believing fully that God ensures them Victory in the end. Through her word imagery, she shows you "how" to run with endurance in very pragmatic and attainable ways along this faith journey. This life group's focus is to encourage God's people not to quit, not to look back (only of course to see how far God has brought you), to remind them that it's never too late, nor impossible, but to keep on running, trusting and believing that the same God you trusted for salvation, is the same God who has enabled you to "win".

For the next few weeks, we will study, discuss and apply principles from the book The Circle Maker, by Mark Batterson. We’ll learn how to pray in new ways by drawing circles around our dreams, our families, our fears and most importantly, God’s promises!

In life we will encounter circumstances that will cause us, either voluntarily or involuntarily, to arrive at a place where we have to make vital decisions. This is true both in our physical lives and in our spiritual lives. We are all experiencing the effects of what is currently happening in the healthcare arena and is causing many persons to make unplanned life decisions. The question then is what do we do when we are confronted with cross-roads in life and we are not sure how to proceed?

In YOUR MOVE Life Group, with the aid of Andy Stanley, we will explore four questions that will help us make sound decisions with God’s help.

In his book YOUR MOVE PARTICIPANT’S GUIDE: Four Questions to Ask When You Don’t Know What to Do Andy Stanley teaches how every decision and its outcome become a permanent part of your story, what to do when you feel the need to pause before taking action, and how to make more of this life by making sound decisions. Join in vibrant discussions with fellow sisters in Christ as we center in around the Word of God and use this wonderful book written by Andy Stanley to ascend another round on the ladder of spiritual growth.

As standards of conduct continue to erode in our shock-proof world, we must fight the soul pollution threatening our health, our faith, and our witness to others. Without even knowing it, people willingly inhale second-hand toxins poisoning their relationship with God and stunting their spiritual growth.

This book examines the toxins that assault us daily including: toxic influences, toxic emotions, and toxic behaviors.

In our discussions we can identify areas in our lives where we may be challenged to grow beyond the standard set by the world. We can begin to fight these toxic influences and work together to strengthen our relationship with God.

It's time to experience the Holy Spirit in a fresh new way, to meet the God you may have never known. Who is the Holy Spirit, and exactly what does he do? Many people find the Holy Spirit mysterious and confounding.  Why is the third person in the Godhead - the one Jesus said would be the believer's ultimate source of truth and comfort - the source of such confusion? The Holy Spirit's chief desire is for relationship - to offer us the encouragement and guidance of a trusted friend. This insightful and biblically-based study moves beyond theological jargon, religious tradition, and cultural misconceptions to clarify what the Holy Spirit promises to do in your life.

This group is for every woman who thinks, "I can’t keep pretending everything is fine!" Using personal stories and biblical principles you will find your way out of superficial spirituality and move to a deep, meaningful, life-changing relationship with God.  And the journey begins by quitting - quit being afraid of what others think, quit lying, quit denying anger and sadness, and quit living someone else's life. When you quit those things that are damaging to your soul or the souls of others, you are freed up to choose other ways of being and relating that are rooted in love and lead to life. When you quit for the right reasons, at the right time, and in the right way, you're on the path not only to emotional health, but also to the true purpose of your life.

In this class we go deeper. Deeper into Pastor Watley’s weekly combo teachings. We will discuss the Sunday and Tuesday night lessons. We will read the scriptures and discussing what that’s means to us individually and how we can practice the lesson in our life that week. We will practice using the lessons to hold ourselves and each other accountable to the growth process of moving forward and applying the lessons (Sunday service and Tuesday night bible study) to daily life. Faith WITH works (action). Goal: To further examine the Word preached. To correlate that to us personally. To really ponder how to apply those lessons to life; Life application of weekly lessons.
